Ruth Ring Paulette
Ruth Ring Paulette, 90, of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 after a long illness.
Ruth was born on March 11, 1921, a daughter of the late Randolph L. Hurt and Lottie V. Hurt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Ira E. Ring and James K. Paulette; a sister Pearl Carwile; a son, Dale E. Ring; a grandson, Robert (Tony) Taylor; and a granddaughter, Sarah K. Ring.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol R. Tomlin; and her son Thomas \"˜Wayne\" Ring and his wife, Patricia, all of Lynchburg.
Ruth is also survived by her grandchildren: Scott Taylor, and wife, Marissa, Michael Taylor, and wife, Marilyn, Joshua Sizemore, Kevin Ring and wife, Shannel, Rhonda Han and husband, Joseph, and Andrea Ring. And additionally, she is survived by seven great grandchildren: Monica Taylor, Leslie Taylor, Sheila Elliott, Samantha Taylor, Bobbi Easley, Ryan Taylor, and Cody Taylor; five great-great grandchildren: Breon Easley, Dominic Easley, Shane Taylor, Kirra Taylor, and La Reyna Sizemore.
A Celebration of Ruth\"™s Life will be conducted on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with Pastor Kathy Nicholls officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
