Ruth Welch Justice
Ruth Welch Justice, born April 22, 1928, died peacefully at her home on March 21, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Gladys Welch, her brothers Luke, Lee, and Tommy Welch, her sister Lizzie Parker, and a grandson Ron Carter.
Ruth is survived by survived by five sons, Junior Harris, Tracy Justice, Clarence Justice, \"Biggen\" Justice and wife, Juanita, Tud Justice and wife, Robin; four daughters, Myrtle Nester and husband Roger, Linda Stanley and friend, Craig Turner, Dollie Estep and husband, Derwin \"Stretch\", Joan Ragland and husband, Charles; brother, Richard Welch and wife, Pat; two sisters, Artie Overstreet, Gladys Mae Strangee; 39 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer\"™s Association Blue Ridge Chapter, 2728 Colonial Avenue SW, Roanoke, VA 24015.
A graveside service will be conducted 12:00, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Peaks Community Cemetery with Rev. Larry Myers and Rev. Earl Ragland officiating. Visitation will be 6 \"" 8 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 540-586-3443.
