Ryan Michael Hansen, 33, of North Topsail Beach, NC went to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 after a sudden and rare heart attack. Ryan was born to the late William Albert Hansen, III and Connie Bailey Hansen on September 26, 1987 at Virginia Baptist hospital. He is survived by his brother, William Albert Hansen IV, his sister-in-law, Kathryn Hansen, his beautiful niece, Claire Belle Hansen and his wonderful nephew, William Albert Hansen V.
In addition to his immediate family, he was preceded in death by his grandparents William Albert II and Claire Hansen; and uncle Tommy. He is survived by his grandmother and grandfather, Kathleen and Lester Henry; his aunt and uncle, Shannon and Wayne Johns; his uncle and aunt Ronnie and Alana DeMent; his aunt and uncle, Cathy and David Cook; and his uncle and aunt, Gerry and Claudia Hansen. Ryan had several cousins he loved dearly; Tuesdae, Cheyanne, Tre, Dayne, Jennifer, Brian, Illeana, and Natalie. His Topsail Beach adopted family were also dear to him; Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan and children.
Ryan was raised in Lynchburg, VA and went through school at Boonsboro, Jefferson Forest, and then on through college at Liberty University. He grew up attending Thomas Road Baptist Church. Ryan worked for North Shore Golf Course for several years, where he served as General Manager. Prior to that, he worked at Ivy Hill Golf Course here in Lynchburg, VA.
