Sallie Bell Lewis Via, 78, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, February 1, 2021. She was the wife of the late Harmon Amos Via.
Sallie was born February 18, 1942 in Lynch Station, a daughter of the late Plean Allen Lewis and Sally Payne Lewis. Sallie was a member of Bible Way Church of God in Christ.
She is survived by her three daughters: Sharon Via, Sandra Via, and Rebecca Via all of Lynchburg, six siblings: Alice Rhodes, Margaret Garrett, John Lewis, Rachel Rosser, William Allen Payne, and Paul Lewis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers: Bo Lewis and Charles Lewis.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a late date.
