Sandra Luby Brooks

Sandra Luby Brooks, 82, of Moneta, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was born in Marion, VA on September 2, 1942, to the late Fred Denson Luby and Elsie Mavis Jordan Luby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Brooks and daughter, Michelle Fines.

Sandra worked for many years in various roles at Village Family Physicians. She was devoted member at Bethlehem United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities. Sandra enjoyed working outdoors and reading her Bible. Above all, her family was everything to her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Brian Brooks and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Dustin Fines, Jr. and wife, Reagan and Sophie Brooks; step-grandchildren, Sophia Brown and Elliana Brown; two great grandchildren; son- in- law, Dustin; sister, Pandra Midkiff and nephew, John Midkiff and wife, Kelly.

A private family service will be held.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, is assisting the family.
