Sandra Farrar Johnson, age 69, of Lynchburg, died November 19, 2016.
She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Thomas Johnson. Sandra was born March 22, 1947, in Lynchburg, Virginia, a daughter of the late Elizabeth and Frank Jennings.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her two daughters, Melissa Johnson Rambo and Tina Marie Johnson; and her granddaughter, Amanda Marie Johnson.
Left behind to cherish Sandra’s memory are her son, Joseph T. Johnson, Jr.; a sister, Linda Messner and husband, Gary; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; Beth Tweedy, who was like a daughter to her; and many other family members and friends.
She was a very outgoing, friendly person who always put others before herself. She was always calm in times of crisis and knew exactly how to lead her family through the hardships they faced. She will be forever loved and missed by all.
