Sandra Lynn Dixon, 69, of Forest died Friday, July 1, 2016 at her residence.
She was the wife of Larry Dixon for 47 years. She was born March 14, 1947 in Evansville, IN, the daughter of the late Doris and Henry Roedel.
She was a retired employee of First Colony Life Insurance Co. She is survived by a daughter, Angela Holloran and her husband Steve and a grandson, Tyler Dixon Holloran.
She loved spending time with her family, shopping, following golf, and spoiling her Maltese, Harlee.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Morgan Whitfield officiating.
