On Saturday, April 10, 2021, Sandra Schaack of Goode, VA, loving wife and mother of four children, passed away at the age of 62.
Sandra was born March 14, 1959 in Canadaigua, NY to Herbert and Dorothy (Willock) Nolte.
She studied at Lynchburg College and worked as a teacher for 28 years. On August 13, 1983, she married Ross Schaack. They raised three sons, Nathaniel, Alexander, and Spencer, and one daughter, Andrea.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her husband, four children, and two brothers, Ronald and Kenneth Nolte.
A Celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
