Sandra Sprouse Thompson, 64, of Madison Heights, VA, died Saturday, March 19, 2011. She was the wife of the late Ralph Daniel Thompson.
Sandra was born June 1, 1946 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Charles Sprouse and Marjorie Staples Sprouse.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Thompson and his wife, Tiffany of Madison Heights, and Charles Thompson of Gladys; daughter, Lora Moon and her husband, Eric of Lynchburg; four granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter and one brother, Monty Sprouse of Forest.
A celebration of Sandra's life will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in the chapel at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service.
