Sanford Morgan Bower, Sr. 79, of Montvale, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Born on February 2, 1938 in Bedford, he was the son of the late Fred Morgan Bower and Elva Black Bower.
Sanford is survived by his son: Sanford Bower, Jr.; sister: Madeline Blankenship and her husband, Dennis; and Bob the Beagle.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Montvale Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
