Sarah A. Julian Herman

Sarah Alice Julian Herman, 75, of Lynchburg, died on Thursday, December 27, 2012. She was the wife of the late Arthur Lee Herman. Sarah was born in Salisbury, NC on June 27, 1937 and was a daughter of the late Robert L. Julian and the late Naomi Lyerly Julian.

Sarah is survived by two daughters, Cindy Holt and husband, Brian (Chachi) of Evington and Missy Bragg and husband, Jamie of Forest; three grandchildren, Shannon Eubank of Evington, Cory Farthing and Sharmae Osborne of Forest and Katelyn Farthing of Forest; two step-grandsons, Jamie Bragg, Jr. of CT and Andrew Bragg of MI; two great-grandchildren, Carly Eubank of Evington and Aiden Farthing of Forest; and one brother, Edward Julian and wife, Linda of NC.   In addition to her husband and parents, Sarah was also predeceased by two brothers and one sister.

Sarah loved her family and was loved deeply by all who met her. She was a constant source of entertainment for the family and she loved every minute of it. Sarah loved to play poker with her friends and was an avid Redskins fan whether they won or lost. Sarah was a retired secretary for Robinson and Associates, Inc. insurance adjusters.

Sarah\"™s family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
