Sarah Harvey Fauber, 91, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Sarah was born on January 11, 1932 to the late Ewell and Irene Harvey. She was the wife of the late Melvin Cecil Fauber for 65 years. In addition to her husband and parents, Sarah is predeceased by her sisters; Cleo “Fannie” Christine Roach, Bermuda “Jennie” Irene Drinkard, and Reva “Ann” Mae Harvey. Sarah is survived by her two daughters; Yvonne Fauber Staton and Wanda Lowery (James Cullen Lowery Jr.), and Grandchildren; Karter Elizabeth Staton and James Michael Lowery.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 12p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Her remains will rest at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
