Sarah Lynn Allen
Sarah Lynn Allen, 22, of Lynchburg went to be with the Lord Saturday October 29, 2011.
Sarah was born July 22, 1989 in The Bronx, NY a daughter of Richard Allen and Christina Allen both of Lynchburg. Sarah had a passion for the arts which included drawing, acting, and singing. She also attended Blue Ridge Community Church.
In addition to her parents she is survived by a sister Anna Joy Claeys and husband Ryan of Lynchburg, a daughter Roxanne Lee Hopperton and her father Dustin Paul Hopperton both of Lynchburg, a nephew Warren Allen of Lynchburg, a grandmother Reva Lathrem of Kentucky, a special friend Dawn Elizabeth McBee of Lynchburg, and numerous aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Sarah\"™s Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday November 4, 2011 at Blue Ridge Community Church with Dr. Sidney Wade officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and a reception will also follow the service. Since this will be a celebration of Sarah\"™s life and she loved bright colors, especially red, the family politely asks that no black be worn.
