Sarah Reynolds Branch

Sarah Reynolds Branch, 84, of Big Island, passed away on September 20, 2013 at Oakwood Health and Rehab in Bedford. She was born on July 2, 1929, a daughter of the late Raymond Earl Reynolds and Beulah Beatrice Manley Reynolds. In addition to her parents Sarah was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer \"Jack\" Nelson Branch; and a brother, Garvis Musgrave Reynolds. Sarah was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church. She loved her church and spending time with her family.

Sarah is survived by a sister; Mary N. Howell of Bedford; her two daughters, Shelby B. Byers and her husband, Frank and Sheila B. Turpin and her husband, Dennis, all of Big Island; five grandchildren, Marsha Morris and her husband, Chris, Monica Falls and her husband, Dustin, Matthew Byers and his wife, Davannah, Lindsey Nichols and her husband, Johnathan and D.J Turpin; eight great-grandchildren, Dakota, Faith, Logan, Austin, Caroline, Emmy, Natalie and Colton; also numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

A celebration of Sarah\"™s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Hunting Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Carey Snellings officiating. The family will have a reception to follow and they ask all food to be delivered to the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
