Scarlet O. Litchford Scott

Scarlet O\"™Hara Litchford Scott, 46, of Madison Heights, died on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 28 years Charles Berkley Scott. Born on October 8, 1966 she was a daughter of Janet Dudley Litchford and David Warren Litchford, Jr. of Amherst.

In addition to her husband and parents, Scarlett is survived by one son, Brandon Lee Scott and wife, Brittany of Amherst; four grandchildren, Miles Scott, Madison Lee Scott, Mason A. Scott and Bobbi Jo Scott; two sisters, Anne Litchford of Amherst and her son, Stephen Coleman, and Diane Ashley and husband, Junior of Rustburg and their daughters, Abbie K. Ashley and Erica C. Ashley and a special friend, Brenda Power.

Scarlet was previously employed by Burley\"™s Market and CVS in Madison Heights.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Her work on earth is done; and she can now spread her wings in Heaven.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights officiated by Pastor Brady Rose. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service and other times at the residence of her sister, Diane Ashley, 350 Knollwood Drive, Rustburg.
