Scott Daniel Driskill

Scott Daniel Driskill, 49, of Lynchburg, died on Sunday, October 28, 2012. He was born on September 4, 1963 in Lynchburg, the son of Lewis Conway Driskill, Jr. of Gladys and Hilda Carolyn Davis of Lynchburg.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Joshua Daniel Driskill of Richmond; his sisters, Kimberly Davis of Winginia, Kandy Elmore of Appomattox, Karyne Wickline of Rustburg, and Kathy Driskill of Lynchburg; his brothers, Shannon McGann of Linden and Mike Driskill of Appomattox; his step-mother, Tracey Driskill of Gladys and his step-father, Fred Cudlipp of Lynchburg; his grandfather, Lewis C. Driskill, Sr. and wife, Joretta of Lynchburg; his grandmother, Flora Davis of Lynchburg; his uncles, Kirk Davis and Bob Driskill and his aunt, Cheryl Adams; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister, Dylan McGann; grandmother, Doris H. Driskill and grandfather, Giles Thomas Davis.

The family will receive friends at the home of Lewis C. Driskill, Sr., 107 Berkshire Place, Lynchburg, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012.

A memorial service will be held at Unity in the Seven Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 officiated by the Rev. Nancy Purcell and the Rev. Jack Karpenske.
