Sharon Burks Cox, 68, passed on from this life peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
She was a loving wife of Benny Cox and a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She lived her life in the Lynchburg area and worked for Centra Hospital as a medical transcriptionist for 45 years. Sharon was loved dearly by those who knew her and her generosity of heart and spirit defined her as a person.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Bill Evans officiating.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
