Sharon Tabor

Sharon Tabor, 86, of Amherst County passed peacefully on the morning of October 11, 2024. 

Tabor was born in Indianapolis Indiana and from that point forward her life was filled with travel and adventure; both here and abroad. Settling in Amherst County and using her masters degree, Tabor became a successful self-employed business woman. 

Tabor is survived by 3 children; Shannon Proffitt (Hugh), Stuart Payne and Todd Payne (Gay). 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. 

A celebration of life will be held at 7 P.M. Thursday, Oct 24, 2024 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Amelon United Methodist Church.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights, is assisting the family.
