Shawn Lamont Bradley, 51, of Atlanta, GA departed this life on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Guggenheimer Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lynchburg, VA.
He was born on September 26, 1968 to Willie Nowlin and Patricia Nowlin.
He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents; Randolph and Ernestine Nowlin and his maternal grandparents; Bessie and William Mosby and Garlf Nappier.
Shawn was educated in the Lynchburg City School System and attended Clark Atlanta University before joining the United States Marine Corps. He was employed with Chiquita Banana prior to his illness.
He is survived by his parents Willie Nowlin of Kernersville, NC and Patricia Nowlin of Lynchburg, VA; his children Shandler Bradley of Killeen, TX, Tory Bradley, Shawn Bradley, and Sanchez Rosser, all of Madison Heights, VA; three sisters, Kimberly Vaughn (Jawon) of Lynchburg, VA, Rori Nowlin and Randa Nowlin of Greensboro, NC; his brother, Roderick Nowlin of Lynchburg; his granddaughter, Destiny Tanner; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 :00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Tharp Funeral Home, 220 Breezewood Drive Lynchburg, VA 24502. Military Honors will be performed by the American Legion Post 16 and the Patriot Guard Riders.
