Sheila Darlene Mooney

Sheila Kidd Mooney, 52, of Madison Heights died Thursday January 31, 2013. She was the fianc̩e of Jeffrey Arthur of Rustburg.

Sheila was born November 1, 1960 a daughter of the late Elwood Kidd and Shannon C. McChesney and her husband Barry of Madison Heights. Sheila was a devoted mother and grandmother and was a member of Tree of Life Ministries.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters: Crystal Mawyer & Ashley Mooney; Four brothers: Wayne & Cherie, Michael & Tiffany, Kenneth & Myrna, and Vincent & Dana; three step-siblings: Brian, Dawn, and Jackie; Two grandsons: Cameron and Chase Floyd, numerous nieces and nephews & family friend Patricia Kidd. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Kidd.

A celebration of Sheila\Ӫs Life will be held at 1:00p.m. Monday February 4, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights Chapel with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Meade Cemetery.
