Sheila Malloy

Sheila Fitchett Malloy, 82, of Lynchburg, VA, died Sunday, July 08, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of the late John Joseph Malloy, Jr.

 

Born Friday, February 21, 1930 in Yorkshire, England, a daughter of the late George Albert Fitchett and Edne Hilda Halling Fitchett. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and retired from Joan & Jay Manufacturing.

Sheila enjoyed gardening but her greatest joy was her family and friends.

 

In addition to her spouse, she is survived by a daughter: Catherine Malloy Almond and a grandson: Anthony Wayne Almond; two great grandchildren: Chancson Almond and Madison Almond; sister-in-law: Nellie Hicks and nephew: William Hicks all of Lynchburg; a brother: Geoffrey George Fitchett and a sister: Christine Rosemary Fitchett Goodwin both from United Kingdom.

 

 

The family will celebrate Sheila\"™s life from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. on Thursday July 12, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home and following at the residence.
