Sherry Bryant Hartman, 54, of Lynchburg, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 16, 2018. She was the loving wife and BEST friend of Glenn Hartman, Jr. for four plus years.
Born on May 7, 1964, in Lynchburg, Sherry was the daughter of Sandria Dews Bryant and the late Preston Bryant. She was retired from BWXT after 32 years of service. Sherry never met a stranger and was one of the most giving and loving people you’d ever meet, with a smile that could light up a room.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her in-laws, Glenn Hartman Sr. and Peggy W. Houseman; half-sister, Laura Molsky (Mike); half-brother, Larry Feys (Mary); step-daughters, Tabitha D. Hartman and Megan N. Hartman; her very special friends, David and Linda Wright, Randy and Wanda Higgings, Michael Stephen, Tom Warshauer and Kay Jones and Vickie Trent . Special life-long cousins, Andy, Chuck, and Carl Dews. Her Uncle Mark Dews (Carolyn), along with her fur babies, Diamond and Onyx.
A celebration of Sherry’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory,Lynchburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
