Sheryl Edwards Elmore

Sheryl Edwards Elmore, 66, of Henrico, departed this life January 27, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ardenella Edwards. She leaves to cherish her memory and love, her brother, Stephen Edwards (Shelia Hughes); nephews, Kyle Lamont Edwards and Ryan Parrish; great- nephews, Kyler and Kelan Edwards, Ryan, Jr., Kelsey Clark and JaCon Parrish; niece, Shani Clark (John Smith); great nieces, Kenna Edwards, Morghan Clark and Mykiah Parrish; uncle, Merwyn Snead; aunt, Yvonne Edwards; other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Elmore was a Project Manager at Dominion Energy. She was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church where she served as a secretary and a member of the Trustee Board.

Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 P.M. Friday, February 7, 2025. Remains will be forwarded Saturday to Tharp Funeral & Crematory, 220 Breezewood Dr. Lynchburg, VA. 24502 (Phone 434-237-9424).

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Holcomb Rock Baptist Church, 5184 Boonsboro Road, Lynchburg, VA.24503. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery, 3000 Fort Ave. Lynchburg, Va. 24501.

Mrs. Elmore will lie in repose Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 1 P.M. – 5 P.M., Monday, February 10 and Tuesday, February 11 from 9 A.M. – 6 P.M.
