Shirley Ann Eggl
Shirley Ann Eggl, 71, of Forest passed away Sun., Jan. 31, 2010. She was the loving wife of William A. \"Bill\" Eggl for 52 years.
Shirley was born June 26, 1938 in Nashville, TN. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Roberta Sweeney. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Kathy Germeroth and husband Philip, and William D. Eggl; her grandchildren, Kali and Kara Germeroth, all of Lynchburg; her brother, Jack Gamble of San Diego, CA; and her sister-in-law, Patricia Ann Tucker of Ocala, FL and her family.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. The funeral service will be held Thurs., Feb. 4, 2010 at 11:00 am at Grace E. Free Church. Following the service a private family interment service will be conducted at Virginia Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace E. Free Church Building Fund, 21129 Timberlake Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502.
