Shirley L. Crouch

Shirley L Crouch, 81, of Lynchburg, VA, died Wednesday, April 04, 2012.  She was the wife of Eddie Crouch.

Shirley was born August 09, 1930 in Campbell County, VA; a daughter of the late Albert Thompson and Fannie Miller Thompson. She was retired from Limitorque Corporation where she had worked for thirty-two years.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Gloria Hodges of Mathews, VA.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters; Nancy Callis Phillips Buchanan and Susan Callis Traner, both of Mathews, VA, eight grandchildren; Teresa Jepson and husband Scott of Beaufort, SC, Sandra Crittenden and husband Charlie of Mathews, VA, Bobby Phillips and wife Jennifer of Richmond, VA, Carrie Cullison and husband Ryder of Mathews, VA, Krista Buchanan of Richmond, VA, Jamie Traner of Mathews, VA, Justin Traner and wife Amber of Gloucester Point, VA , Brandon Traner and wife Susan of Yorktown, VA and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her special friends; Mrs. Pat Pollard, Mrs. Cathy Powell and Mrs Erika Lynn Mabe.

 The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.  A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
