Shirley "Nani" Reams Moses

Shirley Reams Moses, 85, of Lynchburg, died Friday, April 20, 2018. She was the wife of the late Robert Yancey Moses. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Doris Nash and her brother William Reams.
Shirley was born Monday, September 26, 1932, in Lynchburg, Va., a daughter of the late John Wesley Reams and Minnie Groninger Reams. She was retired from Phillips, Morrison, Johnson and Ferrell Attorneys at Law. She was a former member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
Shirley “Nani” is survived by her son John R. Moses, Sr.; her daughters, Sherri M. McCullough and husband Gary of N.C., and Angie C. Moses of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Amber M. Etters and husband Josh, Zachary P. McCullough, John Connor McCullough all of N.C. and John R. Moses, Jr. of Lynchburg; one great-grand daughter Caroline E. Etters of N.C.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg. A graveside service will be held in the chapel at Fort Hill Memorial Park at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018, with Pastor Tony Harper officiating. Interment will follow.
