Stafford Early Cash

Stafford(Sweetpea) Early Cash, of Bedford, departed this life on 7-20-2023. Born in Amherst County, he was the son of the late Robert Mason Cash and Sallie Massie Cash. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Alice A. Cash, his brothers Doris Cash,Robert Cash, James Cash, Theodore Cash and his sisters Louise Angus(Marion) and Francis Floyd and sister in Law, Gertrude Cash. He is survived by brothers Cleveland Cash (Shirley)  and Melvin Cash, along with a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as well

He attended Temperance School in Amherst. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Griffin Pipe of Lynchburg. His most cherished past times was hunting and fishing.

Funeral service will be held at Tharp funeral home at 1:00pm in Madison Heights, with graveside service at Mead Cemetery to Follow. Family and friends are invited to gather from 11am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Pastor Dave Cash will be conducting the service.
