Stanley Gene Spencer, Jr., 59, of Moneta, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was the loving husband of Mary Ann Spencer, devoted father to Sara Jane Spencer, Abigail Mae Spencer, Stanley Gene Spencer, III (Summerlyn), and Victor Lee Ryan Spencer (Randi James); He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Victor, Charles and Calvin; siblings, Floyd (Buddy), Francis (Barbara Young), Betty Mullins (Paul Leamon), Linda Farley (Terry), Sheila Gilbert (Gary Pratt), Donna Perry (Carl), Barbara Spencer, Daniel Spencer (Kimberly); and a host of nieces nephews and special friends.
Stanley was predeceased by his parents, Stanley Gene Spencer, Sr. and Willa Mae Spencer; and siblings, Judy Osborne (Wayne)
and Jerri Gilbert (James).
The family will receive friends for a visitation and viewing at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A celebration of Stanley’s life will be held at Bethlehem United Methodist Church on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Lord officiating.
