Stella Ann Napier Davis

Stella Ann Davis, 66 years old, of Gladstone, Virginia passed away on March 9,2024.  She was the daughter of the late Charlie Napier and Lucille Abbitt.

Stella was born on November 6,1957, in Lynchburg, Virginia.  She attended school at Appomattox County High School.

Stella was a member of Mt. Obed Baptist Church and enjoyed farming, private sitting for friends, spending time with a dear friend she also called mom, Carrie Boyd. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to gospel and soul music, and most of all raising her children and granddaughter.  

Stella was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer May 4, 2016. She then went on to have a stem cell transplant. Stella fought a battle of Cancer, COPD, and Mitral Valve Leakage in her heart at the end of her life. She lived through her children and grandchild.

Stella’s only baby was her grandbaby Camille.

Stella is survived by her husband John T. Davis, and survived by her children: Michelle Davis, and Nancy Davis of Gladstone, Virginia her great-grandchildren: Camille Davis.

A memorial service will be held on March 18th, 2024, at 1 PM at Mt. Obed Baptist Church at 157 Vineyard Road, Concord, VA 24538 with Reverend Ackers officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tharp Funeral Home.
