Stephen M Herman, 66, of Goode Va., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 7, 2018. He was born, October 16, 1951, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was employed by Areva since 1988, as a Corporate Level III Certification Administrator. His greatest enjoyment was traveling the world and exploring nature with his wife, Sandy. Steve was a member of the Elks and a proud member of the NRA. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, cooking, grilling and football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Sandra L. Buck Herman and her extended family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7 p.m. Those attending the celebration of life service, please feel free to come prepared to tell your favorite story about Stephen. There will be a time of sharing in the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
