Steve Wayne Cline

Steve Wayne Cline, 64, of Montvale, passed away on October 25, 2021. He was born in Christiansburg, VA on November 10, 1956. The son of the late Delmar Eugene Cline and Mary Lee Basham Cline. In addition to his parents Steve was preceded in death by his son, Todd Cline and a brother, Johnny Eugene Cline.

Steve loved spending time in the outdoors. He was very mechanical and loved tinkering on small engines and working with his hands. Most recently working on motorized bicycles and go karts. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Tina B. Cline; two daughters, Monacca Pitts and her husband, Thomas and Hallie Iczkowski and her husband, Evan. Four grandchildren, Olivia Wentworth and her husband, Nick, Mary Witt, Michael Witt, and Trevor Horner. Four great-grandchildren, Alexander Wentworth, Rian Wentorth, Willow Hille and Sophia Wentworth. Sister, Donna Cline Mellichamp. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family would like to express a special Thank You to the Dr’s, Nurses and Staff of Hospice of the Piedmont for their love, compassion and help during this most difficult of times.

A funeral service and celebration of Steve’s life will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Tharp Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at Montvale Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service also at Tharp Funeral Home Bedford.
