Steven F. Judkins

Steven F. Judkins, 54, of Lynchburg, died Sunday April 1, 2012. He was the husband of Nancy Jean Smith Judkins.

Steven was born on November 13, 1957 in Exeter, New Hampshire, son of the late Norman Judkins, Sr. and the late Lois Keaton Judkins. Steven worked as a self-employed automobile mechanic and attended Hyland Heights Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children: Jaclyn Judkins-Cook of New Hampshire; Nicholas Smith and wife Samantha of Vermont; Joshua Judkins of New Hampshire; and Nicole Machado and husband Kevin of Lynchburg, six grandchildren: Jayda Cook, Stevie Machado, Jaylee Cook, Charlie Machado, Benjamin Smith, and Javen Cook, four siblings: Linda Supry and husband Richard; Norman Judkins, Jr. and wife Deborah; and Mark Judkins all of Vermont, and Debra Pedersen of Pennsylvania, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one granddaughter Jadelyn Cook.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday April 3, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A Celebration of Steven\"™s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 4, 2012 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with the Rev. Carl Weiser officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
