Stewart Dale Tyree
Stewart Dale Tyree, 59, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Roni Brown-Tyree for 30 years.
Born July 18, 1954 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Homer Stewart Tyree and the late Mary Phillips Tyree. Stewart was a Pharmacist with Centra Health and was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and father, Stewart is survived by his son, Ashton Blake Tyree and his fiancée, Brittney Bowes; a dear niece, Tiffany Sennett and her family.
A memorial service will be held at Madison Heights Baptist Church, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastor Steve Tyree and Rev. Todd Blake officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Stewart\"™s honor be made to the Historic Sandusky Foundation, 757 Sandusky Drive Lynchburg, VA 24502.
Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg (434-237-9424) is assisting the family.
