Susie Gillespie Weiss

Susie Gillespie Weiss, 93, of Bedford passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Bedford Co. Nursing Home. She was born on January 4, 1924 in Ada, WV. A daughter of the late James M. Gillespie and Sallie Robertson Gillespie. In addition to her parents Susie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Garlin Weiss; two brothers and five sisters.
Susie loved spending time with her family especially the light of her life a grandson Andy. She was a previous member of the Eastern Star and loved cooking. The family would like to say how grateful they are for the love and compassion shown by the Bedford Co. Nursing Home and Bedford Centra Hospice group for all the wonderful care giving to Susie. It will never be forgotten.
Susie is survived by her daughter, Loretta W. Ulch; grandson, Andrew “Andy” Ulch; also numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

A graveside service and celebration of Susie’s life will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, April 10, 2017 at Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton, WV. The family will be having a private visitation.
