Sylvia Catherine Crapper Cochran,84, of Thaxton passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was the wife of the late Maynard Cochran.Born in Nottingham, England on May 12, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Crapper and Beatrice Brown Crapper. Sylvia was also preceded in death a son: Tracy C. Stallard.Sylvia enjoyed knitting, music, dancing, and she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son: Carl D. Stallard and wife, Beth; daughter: Victoria S. Johnson and husband, Michael; daughter in law: Julie K. Stallard; grandchildren: Joshua, Melissa, Amanda, Cole, Logan, Troy, Dalton, Tyler; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
