Taraji Leshay Brown

Taraji Leshay Brown born on November 28, 2012, was called home on August 13, 2024.

In loving memory honoring Taraji Brown 11, of Lynchburg Virginia. Taraji was loved by so many people she brightened a room when she walks in, despite her illness of having sickle cells disease she lifts people up when they are down she was a true cookie warrior.

Taraji was a world of fun, entertaining, joyable, she was in all full of life and a sweet little girl and so much more. She attended her 4th grade year at R.S. Payne Elementary entering her 5th grade year. She was excited about being halfway done with elementary going into middle school, she wanted to know how pre-teenage life be like. 

Taraji loved dancing, cooking, drawing, making vlog videos, doing hair, being an auntie, a mama’s girl and much more. 

Taraji is survived by her mother Monique Rochelle Doubt, her father Eric Lee Brown, of Lynchburg Va 3 sisters: Dynasia and Taliyah Doubt, Gracie Strange, 1 brother Demetri Strange, 3 nephews: Dre’Shawn, Dyzere, and Amari Doubt, 1 Grandmother: Maxine Doubt, 3 Aunts: Shannan Doubt, Shannon and Bernie Brown all above from Lynchburg Va ,1 Uncle Jeffrey Doubt of Roanoke Va and a hosts of cousins, godmothers, friends, and doctors of UVA.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother: Gracie Miller Doubt, grandfather: Alfred Nathaniel Harris, Aunts: Tuawanna Boyd, and Francine Doubt, Stepdad: Darnell Jerome Anderson

Services for Taraji will be held at Tharp funeral Home located at 220 Breezewood Dr. Lynchburg Va Her family has set viewing day for August 20, 2024 from 3pm-5pm and homegoing service Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2pm.
