Teresa Bane Lockhart, of Lynchburg, passed away in her home May 23, 2016; she was born November 29, 1967 in Lynchburg, VA.
She is survived by her parents, Barbara and Mike Vaughan and James Guill; grandparents, Ernest and Lucille Cash; husband, Kevin D. Lockhart; son, Brandon L. Overstreet; daughter, Cheyanne B. Hughes; step daughters, Cassie, Amber, and Jessie Lockhart; daughter, Jordan Moll; two brothers, Carl Bane and James W. Guill; two granddaughters, two grandsons, many uncles, aunts, and cousins and friends whom loved her dearly.
Teresa was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, wife and friend. She devoted many years to the waffle house, known as the number one cook and friend. Teresa enjoyed being with family and friends, playing her number one game yahtzee and attending her church and recently accepting God as her Lord and Savior.
Service will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home in Madison Heights, VA. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be considered to help with funeral costs. It can be sent to Barbara and Mike Vaughn, 111 Oak Grove Drive, Madison Heights VA 24572.
