Teresa Harmon

Teresa Sue Harmon, 62, of Madison Heights Virginia passed away on November 7, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Graham Clifton Harmon and Marvel Elizabeth Pollard.

Teresa was born on January 6, 1962, in Richmond, Virginia. She attended school in Tarboro, North Carolina where she grew up with her family. After graduating she returned to Richmond, Virginia at the age of 18. Teresa worked for the city of Richmond for many years. She later moved to Lynchburg to raise her family and then after retired to Madison Heights, Virginia. Teresa enjoyed the comfort of her home and watching her weekly shows. Teresa also loved going to the beach and spending time with her family.

Teresa is survived by her children; Terrence (Catrice) Harmon, Ashley Harmon. Her Grandchildren; Kye-Wann, Tremond, Za’onn, and A’Niyia. Her great-grandchildren; Kaysen. Her siblings; Penny Harmon-Clark. Two Godchildren; Clifton (Amber) Burford and Latrinda Burford as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives, and friends 

Friends and Family night will be held at her house on Sunday November 10, 2024, from 2p.m. to 4p.m. and on Monday November 11, 2024, from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Celebration of life will be later. 

One of Teresa’s favorite poems was as followed;

"Remember that you are water, cry cleanse flow let go.

Remember that you are Fire, Burn Tame Adapt Ignite.

Remember that you are Air, observe Breath Focus Decide.

Remember you are Earth; Ground Give Build Heal.

Remember that you are Spirit, Connect Listen Know Be still. "
