Teresa Lynn Carwile Pierce, 42 of Lynchburg, died peacefully at her home Friday, May 15, 2015.
She was born in Lynchburg on October 16, 1972 a daughter of Daniel B. Carwile of Concord and Veronica Brown, of Rustburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children: Kelsey Pierce Burnett, of Callands, Stephen Pierce Carwile of the USMC, Beaufort MCAS, SC, a sister; Samantha C. Farmer and husband, Steven Farmer, Jr. of Altavista, stepmother; Gail Finn Carwile, stepfather; Russell E. Brown, maternal grandparents; Nancy Hall of Mason Neck, and Roland R. (Rudy) Burnett of Madison Heights, nephews: Steven, Coleman and Rosser Farmer of Altavista, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, a special friend Wyatt Stone.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; M.R. Carwile and Lura Booth Carwile of Concord.
In keeping with Teresa’s wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
