Teresa Jennings Light Tuck

Teresa Jennings Light Tuck, 58, of Madison Heights, VA, died Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia of Pancreatic Cancer. 

Born in Madison Heights, October 4, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Jewell May Cottrell Jennings Paulette and Robert Lewis Jennings, Jr. and stepdad, Wayne Paulette who always treated her as his own . She had a special bond with her late grandparents, Erskine and Essie Tomlin Cottrell who helped raise her. Teresa was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church and worked as a personal caregiver providing comfort and companionship to the elderly. A special bond was formed with Mr. Neil Hudnall Smith and his family for which Teresa and her family will be forever grateful. Teresa also had a special bond with Audrey and Paul whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by two sons, Travis Light of Madison Heights and Zacharey Fleshman one sister, Melissa Paulette and brother, Thomas Jennings and two nephews, Jordan Owens and Landan Owens. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by a warm and caring church family at Madison Heights Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Madison Heights Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
