Terry Kristy Hall passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017, in Forest, Virginia, surrounded by loving family members. Terry was born on May 13, 1955, to Henry and Mary Lou Kristy of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Terry attended Westminster College and graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After a 10 year career in Human Resources with Westinghouse Electric in Orlando, Florida, Terry married Robert Hall on August 30, 1986, and had two daughters, Ruth Elizabeth Ramsey and Rachael Kristy Hall. Terry dedicated her life to her family and her Savior, with an enduring faith that could move mountains.
Terry was an active member of Mercy Presbyterian Church in Forest, Va., where she was loved by many. Diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2015, Terry is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob; her daughters, Ruth and Rachael; son-in-law, Todd Ramsey II; and her siblings and in-laws, William Hall, Kathy and Tim Keller, Sue and Jim Pichert, Steve and Pat Kristy, and Lynn and Jack Castle. Terry has also been greatly encouraged and loved by 12 nieces and nephews, their spouses, and a growing number of grandnieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Bedford Baptist Church, 1516 Oakwood Street, Bedford, VA 24543 with the Rev. Dr. Timothy Keller and the Rev. Rob Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends at the church two hours prior to the service. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, Terry has asked for donations to be made to Mission to the World at https://mtw.org/ways-to-give.
