Tommy Adams, 54, formerly of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at U.V.A. in Charlottesville, VA. after a short illness.
Tommy was the son of the late Thomas C. Adams, Sr. and Phyllis Hefner Adams Krantz. He was also preceded in death by a special brother-in-law Charles (Butch) Stephen Roach, Jr.
He is survived by the Love of his life and mother of his son Wanda A. Adams, his beloved son Carlton Thomas Adams of Farmville, VA, one sister Tammy Adams Roach, two nieces Brittany Adams and Amber Dirzuweit, one nephew Brandon Roach, one great-nephew Kayden Gregory, a special cousin Mitchell Mawyer, a very close friend and sister Lisa Reed all of Lynchburg, VA. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles and cousins. Most of Tommy\"™s life he worked in Asphalt. Tommy never met a stranger and was loved by many.
A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Ray Eure on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 7PM in the Tharp Funeral Home Chapel in Lynchburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
