Thomas Perry Pinion, Jr. 87, of Bedford passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Centra’s Hospice Center in Lynchburg. He was born on May 24, 1931 in Cabarrus County, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Pinion; and daughters, Janis Viars and Jacki Pinion.
Tom retired from Pinion Builders as owner/ operator. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a huge fan of the Petty Racing Team. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Tom is survived by his children, Patrick Andrew Pinion, Perry Michael Pinion, Sr. and his wife, Phyllis; Judy Johnson and her husband, Sidney; Jill Neighbors and her husband, Warren; seven grandchildren, Perry Michael Pinion, Jr. and wife, Heather; Timothy Alan Pinion and wife, Ashleigh, John Viars, Jr. and wife, Kristy; Crystal Kiffer and her husband, Sam; Sidney Johnson, Jr. and wife, Elaine, Dawn Doland and Lauren Marie Neighbors.
