Thomas Shelburne Weaver, 83 formerly of Victoria, died on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at The Odd Fellows Home in Lynchburg.
Born Saturday, May 21, 1932, he was a son of the late Thomas J. Weaver and the late Daisy Vaden Weaver. He graduated from Kenbridge High School in 1950 and graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1960. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1954. He began his career as a civilian member of the Civil Engineering Squadron at Langley Air Force Base and retired at Fort Picket.
Surviving are daughters, Kendall Levin of Boyce, and Anne Wojcikowski, of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Kent Levin, Jacob Levin, Alexandra Wojcikowski and William Wojcikowski.
A celebration of Thomas’s life will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home.
