Thomas Samluk, 90, of Lynchburg passed peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Helen Lipowski-Samluk.
He was greatly loved by his children: Mary Ruegamer of Hilton Head, SC, Joseph Samluk of Rochester, NY, Teresa Samluk of Lynchburg, Catherine Samluk-Dall of Ronkonkma, NY, Margaret Legnosky of West Islip, NY, Thomas Samluk of Lindenhurst, NY, and Frances Swanburg of Pensacola, FL.
Thomas was born in Elmhurst, New York on July 15, 1928 a son of the late John Samluk and Helen Sczpanski Samluk. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, was retired as a Draftsman Designer with Lambda Electronics in Melville, NY, and was a parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
A private committal service for Thomas will take place at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at a later date.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
