Timothy A. Sanderson, 50, of Lynchburg died Monday, February 5, 2018. He was the husband of Karen Russell Sanderson for 28 years.
He was born in Lynchburg on November 29, 1967, a son of Edward and Donna Sanderson. He was co-owner of Ed’s Automotive and was a member of North Bedford Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children: Kaitlin Sanderson Keys (Brandon), Christian Russell Sanderson, and Tatum Ann Sanderson; grandchildren Jackson Keys and Joel Keys; and a brother, Edward Sanderson (Teresa) and their children Bryan Sanderson and Erica Richard (Jessy).
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. at North Bedford Baptist Church on Thursday, February 8, 2018 with Pastor Chad Brady officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Bedford Baptist Church for the benefit of the Youth Room Renovation, P. O. Box 153, Forest, Va., 24551.
