Timothy Cree, of Forest, died during his second bout with cancer on June 24th at the age of 70.
He was born in Elizabeth, NJ. He worked as a computer analyst and retired from Harris Corporation. He devoted much of his time to supporting his children, coaching recreation league sports teams and supporting the high school marching band by being an active member of the band boosters.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and staff in the ICUs of Lynchburg General Hospital. Their compassionate and exemplary care during his battle with cancer since 2015 brought the family great comfort in their time of need.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, mother Beverly, siblings Jon, Megan Sollecito, and Patty Stephens, and children Chris (Lisa), Katherine, Mason, as well as numerous other extended family members. A memorial service will be held in New York State in mid-July.
