Timothy M. Whalen

Timothy Michael Whalen, 58, of Forest, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born in Canandaigua, NY on March 29, 1960. He is the son of the late Yvonne Gendron Whalen and his surviving father Robert M. Whalen.

Tim was a Production Scheduler for Frito Lay in Lynchburg. He enjoyed the outdoors while playing golf, deer hunting, traveling and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his father, Tim is survived by his loving wife, Kim Padgett Whalen; son, Aaron Michael Whalen; siblings, Greg Whalen and wife, Joyce, Ernie Whalen and wife, Carolyn, Ted Whalen and wife, Sarah, Shona Witt and husband, Dennis, Yvette Seamster and husband, Alan Weese, Pete Whalen and wife, Irene and Jason Whalen and fiancée, Angie Bowden; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A funeral service and celebration of Tim’s life will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Chapel in Bedford. Burial will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
