Timothy Ray Kidd

Timothy Ray Kidd, 52, of Madison Heights died Tuesday June 19, 2012.

 Timothy was born July 24, 1959 in Lynchburg a son of the late Elwood Kidd, Sr. and Shannon McChesney and her husband Barry of Amherst. Timothy attended Tree of Life Ministries and enjoyed singing gospel music.

 In addition to his mother he is survived by a sister Sheila Mooney of Lynchburg, four brothers: Elwood Wayne Kidd and his girlfriend Sherri Toler of Madison Heights; Kenneth Eugene Kidd and his wife Myrna of Madison Heights, Michael Kidd and his wife Tiffany of Forest; and Vincent Kidd and his wife Dana of Bedford, a son Timothy Ray Kidd, Jr. of Madison Heights, a daughter Stephanie of Lynchburg, one step-brother and two step-sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday June 22, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights.

A Celebration of Timothy\"™s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 23, 2012 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights with the Pastor Mike Dodson and Pastor Bill Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Meade Cemetery.

 Memorial contributions may be made to Tree of Life Ministries in Lynchburg.
