Timothy Wayne Hodges

Timothy Wayne Hodges, 51, of Lynchburg, died on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was the husband of Karen Foster Hodges. Tim was born in Lynchburg on January 23, 1961, the son of Marvin P. Hodges and Delores Hodges.

In addition to his wife and parents, Tim is survived by one daughter, Christi Hodges of NY; two sons, Steven Hodges and Michael Hodges both of Lynchburg; one step-daughter, Julie Renea Ridgeway of Lynchburg; three step-sons, Jamie Lee Ridgeway and wife, Laurie and Jeremy Rea Ridgeway both of Lynchburg and John Thomas Ridgeway of Hawaii; and three grandchildren, Jaydon Thomas Ridgeway, Brandon Charles Ridgeway and Brooklin Diane Ridgeway all of Lynchburg and his former wife, Lori Pecham Hodges of Lynchburg.

Tim was a member of Timberlake Baptist Church and an employee of Terry Volkswagen in Lynchburg for over ten years. His favorite activity was spending time with his family.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Gethsemane Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Carlton Duck officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
